The 4 pillars of the ASC 360 Tennis System©
The ASC 360 Tennis System©, designed by Emilio Sánchez Vicario and Sergio Casal, is based on four core pillars of athletic development: technical, tactical, physical and mental.
Each of these four pillars is developed intensively and tailored to the player’s level, which will depend on age, physical condition and tennis level. The levels are reflected in the ASC Development Pyramid©, and range from the initiation stage to the elite stage.
Fitness, one pillar of the ASC 360 Performance System
Fitness in tennis represents a very strong and important pillar on the players preparation; a well designed physical plan can be the key factor for a successful match result. At ASC daily physical training is composed of 1 hour of athlete-specific performance training; working on different aspects including: speed, power, agility, quickness, coordination, balance, and core.

Words From our ASC Senior Student-Athletes
There are only a few weeks for the long-awaited graduation of our students-athletes at ASC Florida, we wanted to interview our senior students and know their stories of how they got to Sanchez-Casal, what their expectations are in this new university stage, and their advice for young people who seek to balance tennis with their studies; they told us how all the effort was worth it in the end after so many years of sacrifice and hard work. Strategic dietary planning is profitable and advantageous
When, what, how and how much we eat powerfully affects our energy levels and, as a result, also our performance and productivity. We must be aware of what we eat, but if we want to go one step further, we must also eat with strategy.
THE METABOLIC WINDOW
During the post-exercise period of time, the body is extremely receptive to the absorption of nutrients, due to the influence of insulin in the body. This metabolic window is open for the first two hours post-training, although the first 45 minutes are when our bodies are the most receptive. This period of time is the opportunity our bodies give us to absorb the highest amount of nutrients and increase our performance abilities.
HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR COACHING ROLE
“You are one of those coaches that I admire, the ones that do the dirty work, the complicated task of staying with players in the key moments’
What does it take to become a good coach?

LEARNING HOW TO EAT
The vast majority of people who have lost weight and maintained their new weight over time have not followed a particular diet; they have simply learned how to eat well. How did they do it? They have quite simply changed their eating habits.
#20 Successful Habits Of Overcoming Adversity
The past months have been very hard. With the school year beginning shortly, appeared to be promising year. The kids arrived back to school excited about setting and accomplishing new goals, objectives and dreams. There was a healthy and renovated vibe here at ESIS and ASC.
However, things changed suddenly when one of the early traveling teams (competition groups) traveled to the Caribbean to compete in some tournaments and get some ITF points. Competing in these tournaments allows players to play during the rest of the year at the ITF tournaments, as well as receive excellent options of being considered by college coaches.
ANTIOXIDANTS: THE GREAT ALLIES OF YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM
One of the great problems of sport is oxidative stress. Excessive body oxygenation through breathing accelerates the oxidation process, which generates free radicals. Free radicals can cause premature aging and many degenerative diseases. What can we do to renew our cells and keep ourselves healthy and young? To counteract oxidation, the best we can do is provide our body with natural dietary antioxidants.
